Our Tasting Experience

We take immense pride in offering a thoughtfully curated selection of wines from the vineyards of Mexico, celebrating the country’s remarkable winemaking heritage. Mexico’s wine history goes back to the 16th century when governor Hérnan Cortes who brought wines from Spain and planet grapes to celebrate the conquest of the Aztec Empire.

Today, Mexican wine tourism is growing in popularity, especially in the Baja California wine region where 90% of all wines are produced. Within this coastal wine region, the grapes in the Valle de Guadalupe benefit from the Pacific Ocean breeze and sun soaked climate. Beyond the borders of Baja California, other wine region include Sonora, Coahuila, Durango, Aguascalientes, and Querétaro.

Mexico’s top-producing wine region sits along the Baja California coast in Valle de Guadalupe. This 14-mile, Mediterranean-like climate provides the right energy for the vines to develop and concentrate color, aromas, and flavors and help to achieve a complete ripeness of tannins. Our Wine Club

1. Sign Up For the Decanter Tasting Room Wine Club
2. On the 2nd Saturday of each month, come to Decanter Tasting Room and enjoy our Sommelier’s choice of wines paired with hors-d’oeuvres.
3. Take home your favorite two bottles to enjoy on your own. ( Choose between your choice of white, rose, red, or one of each)
4. Wine Club members receive 20% OFF on wine club days (second Saturday of every month) on each bottle available in the tasting room. Every other day of the month, members receive 10% OFF their checks.
5. Throwing a party? As a wine club member you also get one-on-one advice from our Sommelier on selecting wines and food for your next big event!
6. Wine club membership is $65 per month (billed at the end of each month) and we guarantee the value of the wine will always over deliver the dollar value.
